About STF
The Swedish Tourist Association (STF) is one of Sweden’s largest non-profit organisations and has been a pioneer in exploring Sweden since its founding in 1885. By guiding and inspiring both small and big adventures, we want more people to have the opportunity to understand and share our passion for discovery. We aim to protect and develop our unique environments so they can be passed on to the next generation. The association has around 195,000 members and approximately 250 accommodations across Sweden, ranging from lighthouses and mountain stations to ships and hotels.
Each year, thousands of activities and courses are organised at STF’s facilities and within its 62 local associations. STF also publishes the member magazine Turist. The organisation has around 250 full-time employees and an annual turnover of approximately SEK 330 million.
