Kebnekaise - Two course dinner
Elsa’s Restaurant is named after Elsa Göransson who worked as the caretaker for Kebnekaise Mountain Station for almost 30 years.
During her time at the station in the 1930’s to the 1960’s all the guests dined at long tables together swapping stories, tips and ideas about their previous excursions. As the station didn’t have the possibility to use helicopter or snow mobiles for transports that we use today they had to prepare the food to last. The preparations included for example pickling and drying of the food and this has inspired us to prepare and serve the food in the same style.
Every evening a two course meal is served, fish or meat as the main course and a dessert to end the meal.

Reslängd/tid: If you have or are planning to book a guided tour to the Southern peak of Kebnekaise along the eastern trail, we recommend that you book the dinner time of 5:30 or 9:00 p.m. Due to a mandatory tour briefing 8:00 p.m.

Avbokningsvillkor: Cancellations can be made up to 7 days (168 hours) before arrival. After this time, no reimbursements of amounts paid will be made

Åldersgräns: Vegetarian and vegan dinner options are of course available but needs to be booked in advance. Please advise us of any allergies at the time of booking, write a note under the message/wishes to Kebnekaise

Guide: STF Kebnekaise is cash free. You can pre-pay your stay, but on site you can only pay by card
