We focus on locally sourced and organic ingredients, and every dish is carefully prepared from scratch with both taste and sustainability in mind. By collaborating with local suppliers and making conscious choices, we actively work to reduce our and our guests’ climate impact—without compromising on quality.
At Gysinge Wärdshus, you can enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner in a cozy and welcoming setting. During the summer, our outdoor seating area in the garden opens up, allowing you to savor our dishes under the open sky.
Dogs are welcome on the outdoor terrace and in our separate, bookable dining rooms.

Breakfast

Every morning, we serve a carefully prepared breakfast buffet, featuring:
- Homemade bread made with flour from Vinnersjö
- House-made carrot marmalade
- Yogurt with seed and nut toppings
- A selection of cold cuts and spreads
Lunch

Our lunch menu is updated weekly and always includes meat, fish, and vegetarian options. Every meal is prepared using carefully selected, locally sourced ingredients to create a dining experience in harmony with the season.
Lunch always includes a salad buffet, homemade bread, coffee, and cake. Child-friendly options are always available.
Dinner

In the evening, we serve a seasonally inspired dinner menu with carefully selected ingredients from local producers. Our dishes are created with inspiration from Swedish culinary traditions and classic flavors with a modern twist.
Examples of dinner dishes:
- Ribeye steak with herb butter, caramelized onion purée, pickled pearl onions, potato cake, and sherry vinegar sauce.
- Butter-fried cod with variations of Jerusalem artichoke, pickled golden beet, and white wine sauce.
- Brown butter ice cream with apple compote, crumbled cookies, and caramel sauce.
During the summer, we host barbecue evenings, preparing the finest seasonal ingredients over an open fire—an evening to remember.
