With the roaring rapids in the background, it is easy to find peace here. All our hotel rooms are equipped with a large bathroom and comfortable, made beds. Our cottages are located some distance from the hotel and offer self-catering.
Our restaurant serves beautifully prepared and and well-thought-out dishes, and as our guest you have access to the guest kitchen if you prefer to prepare your own food. Outside, a wood-fired sauna and hot tub await. The Vindelforsarna nature reserve has great hiking opportunities, including the fantastic Isälvsleden trail, and activities such as fishing, skiing and cultural history await nearby.
The hotel is staffed weekdays between 07-21, but you are welcome to arrive later than this. Please contact us in advance and we will tell you how to get into the hotel.

Travel options
Travel by train to Umeå and take the Norrtåg from Umeå travel center to Vindeln travel center (approx. 40 minutes). Night train Stockholm Central -Vindeln travel center. Departure approx. 21.00 and arrival at 08.00 the following day. No changes.
Vindeln travel center is in walking distance (about 2km) from Hotell Forsen, an easy 15 minute walk. Taxi or pick-up service can be booked.
