STF Hotel Forsen

More about STF Hotel Forsen

Vindelälven is one of the four large rivers in Sweden that have not been altered with hydropower plants. Vindelforsarna are doubly protected, both as a nature reserve and through Natura 2000. Hotel Forsen is located in the middle of this protected area, and right at the edge of the rushing river. We have 20 comfortable double rooms, cottages, a restaurant and meeting rooms.
With the roaring rapids in the background, it is easy to find peace here. All our hotel rooms are equipped with a large bathroom and comfortable, made beds. Our cottages are located some distance from the hotel and offer self-catering.
Our restaurant serves beautifully prepared and and well-thought-out dishes, and as our guest you have access to the guest kitchen if you prefer to prepare your own food. Outside, a wood-fired sauna and hot tub await. The Vindelforsarna nature reserve has great hiking opportunities, including the fantastic Isälvsleden trail, and activities such as fishing, skiing and cultural history await nearby.
The hotel is staffed weekdays between 07-21, but you are welcome to arrive later than this. Please contact us in advance and we will tell you how to get into the hotel.
We are proud to work in this unique environment daily, with the opportunities and challenges it presents, and we look forward to having great experiences with you!
A warm welcome!
