About the accommodation

Spend your holiday on a historic family farm dating back to the 18th century. The hostel consists of traditional farm buildings with hostel rooms, as well as two small cabins. At Ihre Gård, it’s easy to turn your holiday into an experience with a pool, padel courts, boules and a café.

Ihre Gård is located along coastal road 149, 30 km north of Visby. The farm dates back to the 18th century and is still run as a family farm, with lamb farming as the main business and a strong ecological focus throughout. The hostel consists of eight buildings, each with three four-bed rooms, as well as two small cabins.

If you prefer not to bring your own bed linen and towels, these are available to rent from us.

Ihreviken is one of the most beautiful bathing bays on Gotland, known for its dramatic sea stacks. Here you’ll find a large sandy beach, and sea eagles have nested here on several occasions. The area also offers excellent fishing waters.

The farm also has a café and shop selling sheepskins, ice cream and delicious pastries. There is always something to do here, with activities such as padel, boules and volleyball – or why not take a dip in the pool? During the high season, the café hosts pleasant barbecue evenings with live music. Pre-booking is available at the café.

Please note: The nearest grocery store and petrol station is located in Stenkyrka, 7 km from the farm towards Visby.

Supplement for non-STF members: SEK 50/night for adults and SEK 25/night for children aged 3–15.

By bus
Bus 61 from Visby bus station to the stop Ihre which is right next to the hostel.

By car
From the harbor in Visby, follow the signs towards road 149. Drive three miles north and you will arrive at the hostel. Road 149 is the coastal road north past the Lummelunda Caves. Ihreviken is located between Stenkyrka and Kappelshamn.
