Ivögården is an ideal place for encounters and experiences for all ages. We’re right in the middle of the little island, just minutes away from the lovely Kyrkviken Bay and the legendary St Ursula’s Spring, where a 13th-century archbishop found one Christmas Eve that the water had turned into wine. The building itself is historic, and has been painstakingly renovated in recent years.
The 15 individually decorated rooms of various sizes, with a total of 46 beds, are cosy and inviting. Guests share shower and toilet facilities. Located next to the wood-burning barrel hot tubs, the showers are newly renovated. There are 8 toilets, 2 of which are disability-friendly. At the centre of the residential wing is a guest kitchen where you can prepare your meals, which you can enjoy cosily indoors or on the patio in the company of Mother Nature.
Breakfast is served in the restaurant or the guest kitchen. The restaurant is open for bank holiday weekends, theme evenings, weekend packages and during the peak season. Our head chef serves excellent, top-quality meals made from organic ingredients from local growers. In the summer you can enjoy ice cream and home-made crêpes at our summer café.
Book your conference at Ivögården and combine efficient meetings with an idyllic environment and great food.
You can bathe almost everywhere on the shores of Ivösjön. Ivösjön is Skåne’s biggest lake with crystal-clear waters and a depth of up to 50 metres. You can fish for perch, zander, pike, roach and common bream – and maybe a few others. Rent a canoe and explore nature’s glory from the water. You can also follow the canal at Bäckaskog Castle to another lake, Oppmannasjön, or row to the town of Bromölla, where you might enjoy a visit to the industrial museum Iföverkens Industrimuseum. We at Ivögården sell fishing licences and rent out boats and canoes for your adventures. Gather with family and friends at the barbecue pit to enjoy a meal in the open air.
We look forward to seeing you at Ivögården on the majestic Ivö Island!
