About the accommodation

STF Kaitumjaure sits beautifully on a slope leading down to the lake of the same name. From the cabin you look out over the long, narrow lake between steep mountainsides. With a bit of luck, you may see moose grazing in the lush delta below.

There are two guest cabins with a total of 30 beds, a sauna and a shop with a smaller range of goods (Small selection).

Guest cabin 63 has 18 beds spread across one eight-bed room, one six-bed room and one four-bed room. In the middle of the cabin there is a large kitchen and a drying room.

Guest cabin 33 has two six-bed rooms with wide beds and a kitchen in each room. You can also stay here with your dog.

There is no mobile coverage at the cabin. If you need to make a call, you can buy call time from the host.

Travel information

STF Kaitumjaure is located about 9 km north of STF Teusajaure and about 13 km south of STF Singi on the Kungsleden trail between Nikkaluokta and Saltoluokta.

Vakkotavare and Nikkaluokta are suitable starting points for a hike or ski trip to STF Kaitumjaure. Expect 2 and 3 days respectively to get here from these starting points.
