We can also offer a child-friendly beach, beautiful hiking and bike trails, good kayak paddling, a country house café, a local crafts museum, a farm park, minigolf, football pitches, and more. On the hostel estate, we also have a jewellery shop with handmade necklaces.

The hostel is located in a culturally interesting country estate area with 10 different buildings, the oldest dating from the 1600s. All the rooms at the hostel are different and personally decorated. The hostel lies on a hill embedded in dazzling greenery of swaying lime trees. The fantastically beautiful place is surrounded by open fields and grazing cows. The whole place is characterised by peace and beauty and is particularly suitable for weddings, yoga/meditation courses, painting courses, etc. The folk museum also has a conference room for roughly 50 people.

During the summer we arrange courses in African dancing with musicians (see pictures).
Roughly 1 km from the hostel is a large sports centre with everything from a swimming pool and bowling to athletics, volleyball and handball. The closest golf course is Katrineholm GK which has 27 holes and is about 7 km away.

It is roughly 3 km to the centre of Katrineholm, with shops, restaurants and cafés.

Tips for day trips: Reijmyre glassworks, Julita park, Kolmården zoo, Vrå stone age village, Vingåker Outlet, Sagostigen, the fairytale theme park in Malmköping
