STF Kolåsen Mountain station

More about STF Kolåsen Mountain station

"One of Jämtland's most beautiful high mountain places" it says in a travelogue from the late 19th century and it is true. Kolåsen is fabulously beautiful with lakes and mountains. The small village currently has seven inhabitants if you count Bränna and Kolåsböle. There is room for both activities and total peace, your choice.

Living here is like being locked back in time in a positive way. The current hotel was built as early as 1934. The rooms are personally decorated with history from the past. With us, you choose between accommodation in hotel, hostel or cottages.

In our restaurant we serve food from our own and local ingredients. The wine list is well sorted and the beer is Jämtland.

The area offers a variety of activity. Waterfalls, walk along trails in old-growth forest, pick cloudberries and chanterelles. Fish trout, char and grayling and ski in groomed ski trails. Enjoy mountaineering and our hot tub overlooking the mountains. Horses, sheep, cows and pigs keep the fields open and welcome all visitors with curiosity and confidence. Summer and winter, the air is clean and the nature is fantastic.

We want as many people as possible to take part in this gem. We are passionate about what we do and will always be responsible for what we sell. Pure Food and genuine be simply.

A warm welcome to us in the Jämtland mountain world.

Micke and Anna
