Travel options
In summer, the shortest way to STF Kutjaure is via Vaisaluokta. You can get there by boat from Ritsem.
For information about boat traffic from Ritsem to Vaisaluokta, see swedishtouristassociation.com/boats
STF Kutjaure is another cabin on the Padjelantaleden and Nordkalottleden trails. Read more about Padjelantaleden www.swedishtouristassociation.com/padjelantatrail
For information about the Nordkalottleden, please use your preferred internet search engine.
It is easiest to get to Ritsem by bus from Gällivare, from where there are daily rail connections from Stockholm and other cities. It is a good idea to book train and bus travel in advance on the same Resplus ticket. If you want to book only the bus journey, you can do so at www.roadtoritsem.com/
Länstrafiken in Norrbotten no longer services the route between Gällivare and Ritsem.
