Leopold Boutique Hotel is the small and intimate hotel right in the heart of Östersund. It is located on the second floor of a property built in 1914, in classic Art Nouveau style and with an unbeatable atmosphere. There have been hotels here for as long as anyone can remember. We have recreated the atmosphere from the turn of the century by always choosing decorations that are typical for the period. Antique furniture gives a high coziness factor, and in our dining room breakfast is served on beautiful old china and with silver cutlery. This contributes to both a wonderful mood and a more sustainable business.

The charming elevator takes you up to the second floor, where the rooms, lounge and dining room are located. Here you will find high ceilings, large windows, tiled stoves and bay windows. Intimate, relaxed and with a personal atmosphere. A perfect starting point when you want to feel good and discover the charming city and its beautiful surroundings.

We offer seven spacious and individually furnished rooms, each with very comfortable beds and a private bathroom. The rooms have large windows facing the walking street or the rooftops towards Frösön. In the dining room a delicious breakfast buffet is served every morning, and you can relax and feel right at home in the lounge. The dining room and lounge are decorated with beautiful period tile stoves, which enhance the historical feel.

We took over the hotel on January 1st, 2021, and our goal is to create a hotel with a high coziness factor that offers our guests a pleasant and lovely stay here in beautiful Östersund.

    Travel options
    Östersund is easily reached by train from anywhere in over Sweden. Östersund/Åre Airport is located 10 km from the city center and has direct flights to Stockholm / Arlanda and Umeå.

    Leopold Boutique Hotel is located in the middle of Östersund, around 100 m from the bus stop and just over 1 km to the train station. The airport bus stop is 150 m from the hotel.

    By car, take road E45 north or south from or E14 from east or west. Both roads pass Östersund, and the hotel is centrally located on Prästgatan 26 with ample parking in public parking garages in the area. The parking garage fee is SEK 100 / day. Free street parking 18.00-09.00.

    If you need to charge your electric vehicle, the parking garage has charging stations. Fast charging stations can be found down by the parking lot near Badhusparken.
