STF Nyrups Naturhotell

At Nyrups Natur Hotell, time stands almost still. You fall asleep to the stillness and wake up to birdsong and beech forest rustling. The silence is palpable, you feel the calm and how you ground yourself in the soul of the forest. Nyrups Naturhotell is situated incredibly scenic in central Skåne, in the middle of the beech forest and with Hålsaxabäcken’s ravine as a neighbor. Here in Frostavallen’s hiking area there are rolling beech forests, ancient volcanoes and beautiful hiking trails with a view of Skåne’s cleanest lake, Dagstorpssjön. It is also on STF’s signature trail Ås to Ås.
 
As you stay here, there is no electricity, running water or wifi. To reach us you will need to hike into the woods according to our instructions. Scattered in the forest are our six woolen huts with two or three beds each, where you always book your own hut. When you close the door you are in a world of your own. The hand painting and the oil lamp together with the special attenuation of the sound that the wool gives creates a unique atmosphere. In the hut you sleep well in comfortable, made up beds. As a guest, you have access to the outdoor kitchen and the collective hut Älvan where you can hang out. At Naturhotellet there are two compost toilets and we also have a forest shower and hot water is in the wood stove in Älvan.
 
We guide you in your nature experience and you only need to bring clothes for your days in the Scanian nature, everything else is in place for your experience. With us, you are challenged when you cook over an open fire, when you handle oil lamps and try the outdoor shower. And the bed is comfortable, the woolen hut light and welcoming and everything is prepared for your experience close to nature. We think that Nyrup’s Nature Hotel is “glamping” in the true sense of the word. We call it Close to Nature. For real.
 
We offer various ready-made experience packages based on two nights where everything is included. It is also possible to book individual nights with us, for example if you walk Ås to Ås.
