Welcome to the forest. Fall asleep in peaceful silence and wake to birdsong and the gentle rustling of the beech trees. Here you are given the time and space to unwind, listen to the stillness and experience the forest with all your senses. During your stay, you cook over open fires, hike along marked trails or explore new paths in one of Skåne’s most varied natural areas. You can also enjoy the wood-fired sauna, nestled in the forest just beside the accommodation.

Nyrups Naturhotell consists of six wool huts carefully placed in a sheltered spot in the middle of the forest. The huts blend beautifully into their surroundings and offer comfortable beds, hand-painted details, skylights and soft lighting from oil lamps. The natural sound-absorbing qualities of wool create a tranquil atmosphere. There is no electricity, running water or wifi, allowing you to fully unwind. All meals are cooked over an open fire and enjoyed at long wooden tables beneath the beech canopy or indoors in the gathering hut. Prepared ingredient baskets and recipe suggestions await you upon arrival. Whether you are experienced in outdoor life or a beginner, you will receive a thorough introduction on arrival with all the instructions you need to feel confident and make the most of your stay. The fire, the ingredients, the togetherness and the forest come together to create a dining experience to remember.

Nyrups Naturhotell is located in the heart of the Skåne beech forest, next to the ravine of Hålsaxabäcken. The area is characterised by rolling woodland, ancient volcanic formations and well-maintained hiking trails. Both Skåneleden and STF’s signature trail Skåne pass through here. Frostavallens strövområde also offers excellent opportunities for nature experiences all year round.
