STF Sävö Hostel

Sävö has long been one of the hubs for the various sailing routes that run along the east coast. On Sävö, nature is the attraction, and there is neither wifi nor TV. You will not find restaurants or shops either. Sävö, on the other hand, offers completely incomparable nature with pastures, meadows and forests. Here are all the opportunities for a wonderful outdoor life. The fishing is rich and there are two hiking trails, Sörmlandsleden and Sävöleden. Among the many small coves you will easily find your own bathing cliff for sun and salt-sprinkled morning dips.
 
On a lush beach plot with large grass areas right next to the sailing trail through Sävsundet are the red houses now serving as a hostel. The seven rooms are divided into two houses, Båtsmannen and Lotsen. Showers and toilets are located in a separate building next to the houses. In Båtsmannen there are two fully equipped guest kitchens, and in Lotsen you will find a reception and breakfast room. In Lotsen we serve a delicious breakfast every day. Please note that breakfast must be pre-ordered, which you most easily do in connection with your reservation.
 
At the hostel is a cosy café situated where we serve local drinks, home made cakes, waffles, lunch and ice cream. Above that you can buy camping meals as well as a grill package.
 
Open in the low season: friday- sunday 10.30-15.00.
High season: wednesday- sunday 10.30-16.00.
 
The boat transports to Sävö depart from Källvik’s pier daily at 10.30 & 16.00. Departure from Sävö to Källvik departs daily at 11.00 & 16.30. The boat transports must always be pre-booked, preferably in connection with booking, and no later than the day before arrival. Please note that the boat will not run if no bookings have been received.
