About the accommodation

The Sigtuna hostel and Folk High School are located just outside the quaint mediaeval town centre. Accommodation is in comfortable rooms with one, two or three beds, and the hostel is a great starting point for discovering the lanes and cafés of Sigtuna, or taking a trip to Stockholm or Uppsala.

View details

Stay in a comfortable single, double, or triple room. Bed linen and towels are always included in the room rate. You also have access to our fully equipped guest kitchen. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property, and every room has a TV. We also offer a limited number of cots for children under the age of three, available on a first come, first served basis.

As a guest at our hostel, you share the folk high school’s facilities with its students. If you’re lucky, your stay may be enriched by meeting some of our students, course participants, or conference guests.

The atmosphere here is relaxed, offering plenty of opportunities to socialise or enjoy some quiet time on your own. In the Ansgar building, you’ll find a peaceful space for reflection. Walking trails wind through the surrounding forests and along the shores of Lake Mälaren, and a public swimming area is just 500 metres away. Sigtuna Folk High School is a 15-minute walk from the historic town of Sigtuna. You can also reach us easily by bus, as both SL (Stockholm Public Transport) and UL (Uppland Public Transport) stop right outside the school.
