About the accommodation

The beautiful old wooden buildings of Malmgården lie among tall lime trees and orchards. This is an old-fashioned environment with gravel paths, a homely country kitchen and airy, comfortable rooms with one or several beds. The kitchen and bathrooms have been renovated while preserving the old-fashioned style.

Here you stay in bright 2-, 3- and 4-bedded rooms. All rooms are non-smoking. Pets are welcome in some rooms. Kitchens and bathrooms were renovated in 2013/2014. Laundry and drying facilities are available, Free WiFi, TV in the kitchen/common rooms, grills for loan, sheets and towels included.
 
When you stay with us, you are close to many interesting places. Strängnäs town, 5 km, offers cultural sights from as far back as the 1200s. Take time to visit Mariefred, 18km, and Stallarholmen, 14km, with a wonderful mixture of opportunities to experience music events, markets, art exhibitions, theatre, sports and leisure activities. An authentic Indian village is around the corner, riding stables, fine golf courses, antique markets and of course the whole of Lake Mälaren – all just waiting for your visit!
 
Time for check in: 17 pm – 19 pm. Other time after agreement.

By car
Road 55/E18 from Uppsala-Enköping, Västerås:
After passing the Strängnäsbron, turn left and continue on road 55 towards Norrköping. At the roundabout after about 4 km, take the second exit towards Malmby. After approx. 1.5 km Malmgården is on the right and the sign "Malmgården" shows the entrance to Malmbyvägen
 
Road 53/55 from Norrköping/Katrineholm/Nyköping:
After passing under the E20, continue on the Biskopskvarnsleden towards Strängnäs. At the fourth roundabout turn right towards Malmby. After about 1.5 km, the hostel is on the right and the sign "Malmgården" shows the entrance to Malmbyvägen
 
Road E20 from Södertälje:
Take off at exit 138 and traffic stop "ÅKER". Turn right towards Strängnäs. After approx. 6 km you will reach Malmby. After approx. 1.5 km, the hostel is on the left and the sign "Malmgården" shows the entrance to Malmbyvägen
 
Road E20 from Eskilstuna:
Take off at exit 137 and traffic stop "BISKOPSKVARN". Take the third exit at the roundabout towards Strängnäs. After passing under E20, continue Biskopskvarnsleden towards Strängnäs. At the fourth roundabout turn right towards Malmby. After approx. 1.5 km Malmgården is on the right and the sign "Malmgården" shows the entrance to Malmbyvägen
 
By train and bus
Trainstation Strängnäs central. From there you can take county traffic bus 301 or 303 to MalmGården. The bus stop, called Malmby, is only 100 meters from Malmgården.
