In the middle of the mountains, far from roads, you will find our dining room with a view of the mighty Syl massif. In the winter of 2018, we built an entirely new lounge, reception and kitchen section in the main building at Sylarna. Please note that STF Sylarna is cash free. You can pre-pay your stay, but on site you can only pay by card.

Spiseriet Restaurant

Sylarna’s restaurant focusses on organic and locally produced food. We serve breakfast, simple lunch options and a two-course stew dinner in the evening.

Breakfast

Get ready for a day on the mountain with our varied and organic breakfast buffet. We serve freshly baked bread, waffles, porridge, sour milk, home-made granola, eggs, sandwich toppings, home-made jam, juice and coffee/tea, among other things. We have vegan, gluten-free and lactose-free options. Breakfast is not included in the price of the room, you have to add it when you book your visit.

Packed lunch

During breakfast it is possible to make up your own packed lunch for the day’s excursion. The packed lunch includes sandwiches from the breakfast buffet that you make yourself, raisins, home-made brownies and powder for hot beverages (coffee, stock, chocolate, blueberry soup).

Dinner

After a day full of adventure in the mountains, you are invited to enjoy our organic two-course dinner. The dinner starts with a platter of local cheeses and cold meats. There are of course vegetarian and vegan options. The main course consists of the stew of the day and there is always one vegetarian and one meat option to choose from. The stew is served with side dishes, as well as freshly baked bread and organic salads. After dinner coffee/tea is included and if you have a sweet tooth there is a selection of desserts on the menu.

Other options

We offer home-made boxed meals. Bread, salad and coffee are included. Vegetarian, vegan, lactose-free and gluten-free options are available.

Shop

Our shop has ingredients so that you can cook several meals at the station, by provisions for your camping trip or stock up on personal hygiene products for your excursion. The selection is comparable to those in the biggest mountain cabins.

Alcohol

We are fully licensed and offer a range of organic beer and wine, as well as cocktails inspired by the mountains. Alcohol you have brought with you may not be consumed in the restaurant or lounge.

Annexet Kläppen

The annexe Kläppen is home to our newly renovated self-catering kitchen and this allows you to consume your own food and drink.
