STF Vallåsens Värdshus

Vallåsens Värdshus has a history of about a hundred years. In 1918, Vallåsen’s hunting lodge was completed with a fireplace, cigars and dusty whiskey bottles. Here you could enjoy fresh air, good hunting and real wilderness. Even the king himself visited during these years. Eventually, it became a conference hotel, since 2003 it has been run by the Oskarsson family. Today it is characterized by a lifestyle close to nature where Scandinavian design classics are mixed with crafts and art. You will notice that there are many family members and friends involved when you visit us. Maybe because we really care about our company and our guests. Maybe because you see the same person making a bed, serving and checking in guests on the same day. No one who works with us is here by chance or coincidence. We are friends, siblings, parents, cousins, neighbors and spouses – and we like each other.
 
We offer comfortable accommodation in double rooms and family rooms all year round. We are not a traditional hotel or hostel. We are something right in between. A beautiful place in nature where you can be yourself and take part in what we think is a luxurious and wonderful lifestyle. Cotton sheets, towels and cleaning are always included. However, you make your own bed. You can choose to stay with self-catering or to eat in the restaurant when it is open. You always has access to all our large areas, guest kitchen and barbecue area.
 
At Vallåsens Värdshus we can host up to 80 guests and we offer have an orangery, several conference rooms, a stage, a large garden, and a restaurant. With our generous spaces and living rooms, we are a popular choice for parties, conferences and weddings.
 
The restaurant is open daily during high season and always for groups who have pre-booked. In December, you are welcome here for our atmospheric Christmas table. In summer you can enjoy a coffee in our large lush forest garden. We use organic, locally produced and fair trade products as far as possible.
 
We mix crafts, natural materials and design classics with a genuine and loving host. Welcome to us. Welcome to the forest.
