STF Vita Krala

Our bed and breakfast is in a beautiful and quiet location, on an 18th century farm in the Haddebo forest village in Närke. Using old techniques and natural and sustainable materials we have carefully renovated the farm to modern standards, always with respect for the farm’s nature and history. The large garden and forest behind the house give a feeling of peace and quiet. Here, nature and all it has to offer is just around the corner.

Our restaurant is open all year. Meals are prepared lovingly using home-grown or local ingredients. Your breakfast eggs come from our own chickens, the berries and fruit from our garden, and the bread was baked right here. In the evening, you and other guests can enjoy our organic dinner menu, prepared with ingredients from the surrounding forests, farms and lakes. The farm also has a shop selling home-grown vegetables and craft foods made with ingredients from the farm and surrounding areas, plus as stylish furnishings in sustainable natural materials.

As well as delicious food and honest accommodation, we have a lush garden, a wood-fired hot tub and a sauna, and not least great tips for enjoying the exciting nature and cultural experiences of the area.

We pride ourselves on our personal commitment to the house, the garden, the food and above all our dear guests. This is a great place to relax, long-time or for a short break, especially if you let us take care of you.

In old times, our houses were called White and Red Krala. “Krala” is an old Swedish word meaning farm or home. Before the renovation, the restaurant building was whitewashed. We have clay plastered the whole house both inside and out, but the name remains.
