Welcome to Wij Trädgårdar, a sparkling oasis in the middle of the deep Gästrikeskogarna, just north of Gävle. The ancient Wij manor has offered cultural life for centuries, and Wij Gardens has become an attractive destination for visitors from all over the world. The ecological garden park is teeming with life, the joy of discovery and curiosity. The elements of artistic expression in the form of crafts, forging and the like add an extra dimension to the experience.

Just next to the garden park is the beautiful utility fair, where the carefully renovated rooms on the upper floor house Wij Trädgårdshotell. Stay comfortably in beautiful surroundings. We also offer accommodation in our new, lovely, and modern annex, Raggsocka Logi, which is situated in the far part of the park. The proximity to the park and Wij Trädgårdskök makes this the perfect place to stay for a small family and those who want to stay comfortably in historical and inspiring surroundings. All guests get free entry to the garden park, regardless of where they stay.

Lunch and dinner is served at the Wij Trädgårdskök on the ground floor. The meals are largely based on what our home-grown produce, and the flowers and spices add extra shine to our dishes In the garden café, also located in the gardens, you can enjoy coffee and freshly baked goods.

Wij Trädgårdar is an experience in itself, with rich natural and cultural experiences all year. Wij Trädgårdar is also the perfect oasis for a creative conference or small group, offering tranquility and beautiful surroundings, where participants can enjoy good food and a beautiful mansion environment. Today, the historic manor houses modern conference rooms. Courses, theme days and events are also held here, and our guests are welcome to participate. The annual harvest festival is held in autumn.

Wij Trädgårdar is a joint venture in Ockelbo, where the day-to-day operations are managed by us, sisters Marika and Katarina Hansson. Born and raised in Ockelbo, we spent our childhood running through the manor gardens. Together with our incredible staff, we go above and beyond to ensure that our guests can join in the wonderful spirit and exciting cultural history that we have here.

We wish you a warm welcome to a nice stay here with us.
