Until 14 december 2024, you get a 30% discount when booking tickets with Vy Tåg as a member of STF.

Vytåg operates the night train service between Stockholm and Narvik. The night train to Norrland takes you quickly, smoothly, and easily to the land of the midnight sun and the northern lights. Board in Stockholm and wake up to breathtaking views of mountains and majestic nature.

Experience rolling forest landscapes, wind-swept mountain peaks, and wild waters. Be captivated by the northern lights in Abisko. Or travel all the way to Narvik and enjoy exciting adventures in the Arctic mountain environment. And for those living in Norrland, the night train will take you to Sweden’s capital, where you arrive right in the heart of the city.

How to use the discount code

1. You can find the discount code on the page with all your member benefits. (Login required).
2. You can then book your journey by including your discount code when you book on Vys homepage.

Terms and conditions

The discount applies to the regular price on all travel on Vy’s night train to Norrland. The membership benefits are valid until 14 december 2024, after that SJ will run this service. You must present a valid STF membership card during the trip.

The discount is not valid after 14 december 2024

  1. Purchasing period and annual passes
  2. Family offers, pet compartment on night trains, group offers.
  3. Discounted student, child and senior tickets or in combination with other offers, discounts or promotions.
  4. Combination trips with other train companies/Resplus. If you want to use the discount on a full journey involving multiple train companies, each section of the journey must be booked separately.
  5. For sections covered by a special surcharge; for example, travel to Arlanda airport, no discount is given on the station fee. However, the discount will apply to any section that qualifies for a discount.
