Mountain cabin, mountain station, guest house, hostel or hotel? STF provides many different types of accommodation, all over Sweden. We provide a guide to these genuine and sustainable options. If you have seen one, you definitely haven't seen them all.

Stay at an STF Hostel

There are STF hostels all over Sweden, even where you least expect to find them. You can stay in the middle of a national park, in the city, or with the soothing sound of the sea outside your window. Our hostels are all different – no two are alike. Staying here will add something extra to your holiday adventure.

Stay at an STF Hotel

STF’s hotels can be found in the enchanting Swedish countryside, by the sea, or in the big cities. Always offering personalized service, they are anything but large-scale and anonymous. What you can expect instead is hotels where cleaning is provided and the comfy beds are made. Most rooms have their own shower and toilet. Breakfast is normally available too.

Stay at an STF Mountain station

STF's mountain stations are the ideal starting point for your adventure. There are shared guest kitchens where you can cook, relax and get to know other guests. Housekeeping and meals can be booked in advance, and you can either bring bed linen or rent them on site. In other words, you choose your own level of convenience and price. Welcome to the breathtaking Swedish mountains!

Staying in a mountain cabin

STF’s mountain cabins are a simpler type of accommodation along the trails, far from the road. Here, your space and experiences will be shared with other guests. Your only other neighbor is the surrounding nature. The feeling of freedom comes partly from doing your own cooking, fetching water and lighting the fireplace by yourself.

Stay at an STF Guest house

Pining for that escape to the countryside? STF's guest houses offer a personal and hassle-free place to rest your head. They are the perfect choice if you want to eat well, have access to bespoke service and get up close and personal with nature. Your stay usually includes breakfast, bed linen and housekeeping.
