STF Skedbro - Tänndalen

The Skedbro – Tänndalen stretch is a long section, rough in parts, that runs through a varied rural landscape. North of STF Skedbro there is old and undulating mountain birch forest on your way up towards the Broktjärn mountain shelter. This is where you leave the Rogen moraine and come to a bare mountain region on the Rödfjället’s western slopes. The majestic Rödfjället summit rises 1,243 metres above sea level.

The trail divides just before Rödfjälltjärn, the western path going towards Fjällnäs – follow the one towards Tänndalen. You will cross a bridge over the Svanån creek to reach Tänndalsvallen and walk on a country road for the last stretch towards your destination in Tänndalen.
