Accessibility statement

At STF, we want as many people as possible to be able to use our website—regardless of their circumstances. That’s why we strive to ensure it is easy to perceive, navigate, and understand, regardless of functional variations or the assistive technologies used.

The Swedish Tourist Association is responsible for this website.

This statement describes how svenskaturistforeningen.se complies with the Act (2023:254) on the Accessibility of Certain Products and Services, any known accessibility issues, and how you can report problems to us.

Supervision

The Act (2023:254) on the Accessibility of Certain Products and Services (the Accessibility Act / LPTT) covers products and services directed at consumers in several areas. The Swedish Post and Telecom Authority (PTS) is responsible for supervision under this law, which applies to Svenska Turistföreningen.

You can report to the Swedish Post and Telecom Authority (opens in new tab) if you believe our assessment of undue burden should be reviewed, if you find flaws in our accessibility statement, or if you feel we have not handled your request for accessible content correctly.

Technical information about the website’s accessibility

This website partially complies with the Accessibility Act due to the shortcomings described below.

Content that is not accessible

The following content is not fully accessible:

Content excluded by law

Some content is not fully accessible but is exempt from the Act (2023:254) on the Accessibility of Certain Products and Services, according to its transitional provisions §2.

This includes archived content that has not been updated or edited after the law came into effect – such as videos, PDFs, and other documents on the website.

Our goal is to resolve all known accessibility issues as soon as the system providers update their platforms. In the meantime, we are working on alternative solutions.

Disproportionate burden

The Swedish Tourist Association invokes exemption for disproportionate burden under §7 of the Act (2023:254) on the Accessibility of Certain Products and Services for the following:

We plan to evaluate the possibility of offering dark mode during 2026.

How we tested the website

An independent audit of our websites was conducted by Axess Lab AB, an external accessibility expert. The most recent assessment by Axess Lab was carried out on 20 January 2025.

Audit method
The audit included inspection without assistive tools, with screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, text zoom, spacing tests, HTML/DOM inspection, automated tests, and use of browser extensions.

We also carried out internal tests during the 2025 accessibility work.

Planned actions
We plan to address our deficiencies during 2025.

Improvements implemented since January 1, 2025
