Abisko – Panoramic Hike on Mt. Nuolja

This is a hike with extraordinary views. After riding the chairlift up on Mt. Nuolja we hike back down a nice and easy slope.

On the way down we get a panoramic view of the surrounding mountains and we experience different growth zones as we walk from the tundra above the tree line, down through the birch forest to the Abiskojåkka canyon. This is a hike that gives you all different aspects of the Swedish mountain hiking experience, on just 10 km. If you happen to have an interrest in flowers and plants this is the perfect hike for you, Mt. Nuolja has a very rich flora, and some very rare flowers.

• Age limit: 12 years accompanied by a guardian
• Physical ability to walk a full day in mountain terrain
• Bring with you: hiking shoes/boots, rainwear, packed lunch and something to drink
