At Nygården B&B, you stay in a stunning Hälsingland farm with roots dating back to the 1600s. The accommodation has a welcoming, family-like atmosphere, and you’ll stay in charmingly converted buildings—either in the barn or the old stable. Breakfast, coffee, and light meals are served in the newly built restaurant, nestled by a scenic forest grove, offering breathtaking views over surrounding meadows and woodlands. With a bit of luck, you might even spot moose strolling by as you enjoy your morning coffee. At Nygården, you live close to the animals and are welcome to meet the sheep, hens, the friendly farm dog, and a group of cats.
Each room at Nygården is uniquely decorated, offering several different accommodation options for guests.
The 1600s House
You can choose to stay in the original farmhouse from 1598—a carefully renovated private house on the property, blending historic charm with modern comforts. Known as “The 1600s House,” it features two separate bedrooms, a shared living room, a bathroom with a shower, a private fridge and microwave, as well as a TV and Wi-Fi.
The Barn
The fully renovated barn has been transformed into a unique little indoor village, with several rooms inspired by different Swedish landscapes. The former hay storage area now houses a one-of-a-kind accommodation experience, featuring rooms with distinct architectural styles. “The Soldier’s Cottage” reflects a historical period in Sweden, “The Skåne House” boasts timber framing and ceilings from the 1500s, and “The Hälsingland Farmhouse” showcases intricate woodwork and a proud façade. Together, these three rooms create a small village inside the old barn, complete with a shared lounge area with comfortable sofas, a fridge, and a microwave. Each room has its own private bathroom with a toilet and shower, as well as a TV and Wi-Fi.
The Stable
The old stable building now features several unique rooms, thoughtfully redesigned to maintain the rustic charm of the original structure while incorporating modern, urban comforts.
The Stable Suite
Looking for a little extra luxury? Treat yourself and your loved ones to a stay in our newly built “Stable Suite.” Located at the far end of the charming stable, this spacious suite includes multiple bedrooms, a bathroom, and a large lounge area. Carefully renovated to preserve the authentic stable atmosphere, the suite features high-quality materials, generous spaces, and extra luxurious touches for maximum comfort.

Dogs are warmly welcome! Just let us know when booking so we can reserve a suitable room for you and your four-legged friend. A small additional fee applies per pet.
