Discount on accommodation with DNT
STF members receive a discount at several of DNT’s cabins in Norway: NOK 100 per night for adults and children traveling with an STF member.
The discount applies at the cabins Nedalshyttan, Storerikvollen, Schulzhytta, Ramsjøhytta, Græslihytta, Kjølihytta, Bjørneggen, Sulitjelma fjellstue and Svukuriset.
This benefit supports hikers along trails that cross the border between Sweden and Norway, mainly in the Jämtland/Trondheim area. The same offer applies for DNT members staying at selected STF Mountain Cabins.
How to book at the discounted rate
- Find the discount code and the booking link in the list of membership benefits.
- Follow the instructions to create an account.
- Once registered, book your stay on the same page while logged in. Add the campaign code under “Add discount code” in the section “Your cabin trip” after selecting accommodation.

As an STF member, you receive a discount of NOK 100 per night. The same discount applies for children (0–12 years) traveling with an STF member.
Bookings must be made digitally on DNT’s website (opens in new tab). A discount code must be entered at the time of booking. The code can be found on My Pages when logged in as a member.
Proof of STF membership must be presented at the cabin upon arrival.
Access to unstaffed cabins with DNT key
To enter the unstaffed cabins included in this agreement, a DNT key is required. The key can be collected in exchange for a deposit of SEK 100 or NOK 100, depending on the country where it is picked up. The deposit is paid in local currency.
You can collect the key at the following locations:
In Norway: Storerikvollen, Schulzhytta and Nedalshyttan
In Sweden: STF Storulvån and STF Sylarna
The deposit is refunded only when the key is returned. The key must be returned to the same place it was collected, with the following exceptions:
Key collected in Sweden: Can be returned to the same location in Sweden or sent by post to DNT, Youngstorget 1, 0181 Oslo, Norway. If sent by post, the deposit will not be refunded.
Key collected in Norway: Can be returned to any of the Norwegian cabins (Storerikvollen, Schulzhytta or Nedalshyttan) or sent by post to DNT, Youngstorget 1, 0181 Oslo, Norway. Both options entitle you to a refund of the deposit.
