A mountain cabin with a shop.

STF Mountain shops

STF makes it possible to stock up along your mountain trek. In selected mountain cabins, you’ll find shops offering essential and popular products – carefully chosen to suit the mountain environment and support sustainable outdoor life.

The range is adapted to the conditions of the mountains, prioritising sustainability with a focus on products that are long-lasting, reduce the need for transport, and simplify waste management in the mountains.

Shop selection

Our shop assortment is based on two levels: Small and Large. Small means the mountain cabin offers a limited selection of items, but enough to prepare a complete meal. Large means the cabin has a wider selection and offers you a broad range of products.

Please note that some items may be out of stock in shops for various reasons.

All products in the range have been selected based on demand, with consideration given to packaging, storage and delivery conditions, as well as environmental impact. We have completely removed glass packaging and aim to reduce small plastic packaging and packaging containing aluminium. Our current range means that a large proportion of the waste generated can be managed locally in a responsible way.

In our mountain shops—and below—you can learn more from our “flow chart,” which explains in both text and images how our products are delivered all the way from supplier to store shelf, and how we manage waste and recycling in our mountain cabins. Our prices, range and selection are adapted accordingly.
