Kebnekaise – Three course dinner

For almost 30 years, Elsa Göransson worked as manager at STF Kebnekaise mountain station. We have allowed ourselves to be inspired by both the atmosphere and community surrounding the shared meal, as well as the art of cooking as it was in Elsa’s time.

A 3-course dinner is served every evening. With us, satiety and food experience go hand in hand. You will find a soup for starter, meat or fish directly from the nearby area and dessert and coffee. Vegetarian and vegan dinner options are a matter of course, but need to be booked in advance.

As an alternative to dinner in the restaurant, we can recommend “Elsa’s food box”, which consists of home-cooked food prepared at the station. The lunch box is sold in our store. It can then be heated and eaten in our guest kitchen in the service building, alternatively heated in your own brought kitchen. The food boxes are based on leftover food from lunch, this to reduce food waste at the station. Reservation that the number of food boxes may run out and cannot be pre-booked.

Children’s portion (half the size): 0-5 years free / 6-15 years half price.

• Drinks are NOT included. Please note that the quantity of meal boxes is limited and cannot be reserved in advance.
• For guests who are planning to go on a guided tour to the South summit, we recommend choosing the seating time at 5:30 PM or 9:00 PM the evening before, as the mandatory briefing for the summit attempt is held at 8:00 PM.
• Vegetarian and vegan dinner options are of course available but needs to be booked in advance. Please advise us of any allergies at the time of booking, write a note under the message/wishes to Kebnekaise
• STF Kebnekaise is cash free. You can pre-pay your stay, but on site you can only pay by card
• Cancellations can be made up to 7 days (168 hours) before arrival. After this time, no reimbursements of amounts paid will be made
