This is a unique opportunity to challenge yourself, push your limits, and experience the magnificent mountain world of Kebnekaise up close. The tour is physically demanding but rewards you with breathtaking views and an unforgettable nature experience. With an experienced guide by your side, you get the best possible conditions for a successful summit climb without having to worry about pace, route choices, and safety assessments.

The summit attempt takes approximately 10-15 hours depending on the weather conditions on the mountain and whether the ascent is via the eastern or western route. From the start of the season in summer 2026, our guided tours to Kebnekaise’s south peak will take the western route, but our hope is to switch the tours to the eastern route if conditions on the mountain allow. More information on the western and eastern routes, as well as when we expect to make a decision, can be found in the information sheet.

If you plan to have dinner at the restaurant, we recommend choosing the seating time at 5:30 PM or 9:00 PM the evening before, as the mandatory briefing for the summit attempt is held at 8:00 PM.
You need to be in good physical shape and feel comfortable moving in varied mountain terrain. The tour is physically demanding and involves activity in an alpine setting. You should be mentally prepared to cope with physical demands, navigate challenging weather conditions, and be at high altitudes. You should not have a fear of heights or knee problems.
Note: It is mandatory to attend the information meeting at 8:00 PM on the evening before the attempt in order to participate in the summit attempt.
