Kungsleden Abisko – Kebnekaise senior hike with guide

Join us on a classic hike along the northern part of the King’s Trail where, together with a guide, you hike through some of Sweden’s most powerful valleys, surrounded by high mountains. This tour is customized for you who are above 55 years old.

The northernmost part of the King’s Trail stretches from the lush Abisko National park in the north to the high alpine massif of Kebnekaise in the south, and offers spectacular nature experiences. This tour starts in late summer which is an ideal hiking time with cool air, the ground is dry and easy walking. The pace of this tour is a little slower, so we have plenty of time to enjoy the hike.

The tour begins in Abisko with a meeting and joint dinner. The hike starts through the Abisko valley’s lush mountain birch forest and then continues up the mountain through the valleys. You will pass over Kungsleden’s highest point, Tjäktjapasset, and will then hike down into Tjäktjavagge. After six days of hiking we reach STF Kebnekaise fjällstation, and on the last day we hike to Nikkaluokta where we end the tour.
