At Abisko Turiststation, we serve breakfast, lunch and dinner every day, all year round. We put a great deal of care and passion into selecting the ingredients for our restaurants and always offer vegan options. We have two restaurants on-site and a café at STF Aurora Sky Station. Welcome!
Bistro Storstugan & Café – During peak season
In our bistro, located one floor down, we serve rustic and relaxed dishes made from high-quality ingredients. The menu includes homemade burgers, perfectly baked pizzas, toasted sandwiches and homemade pastries. It is the perfect place to unwind with a casual meal after a day in the mountains.

Aurora Sky Station Café – When the chairlift is operating
At the top of Mount Nuolja, reached by chairlift two kilometres from the station and 900 metres above sea level, you will find Aurora Sky Station Café. During the day, we serve homemade pastries, snacks, sweets and light lunches. In winter, a unique four-course dinner is also served here as part of the guided Northern Lights Dinner activity. Restaurang Kungsleden – Open all year round
From Restaurang Kungsleden, you can enjoy magnificent views of Torneträsk on one side and the Abisko Alps on the other. Three meals are served here every day: a breakfast buffet, lunch buffet and dinner. Homemade pastries are also available throughout the day.
Breakfast
Our breakfast buffet provides the energy you need for a day in the mountains. Enjoy freshly brewed coffee, freshly baked bread, scrambled eggs, porridge, bacon, boiled eggs, yoghurt and much more. During summer, you can also enjoy your breakfast out on the veranda.
If you are planning a longer excursion or would like provisions for your journey home, we recommend a packed lunch. You can prepare your own lunch package from the breakfast buffet. Don’t forget to bring your own thermos for hot water.
Lunch
Our lunch buffet features classic Swedish home-style cooking alongside internationally inspired dishes. We always offer a vegan option. Lunch includes a salad buffet, drinks, bread, coffee, tea and hot chocolate. We are fully licensed to serve alcoholic beverages if you would like something to accompany your meal.
Dinner
Our à la carte menu is based on locally sourced ingredients and seasonal flavours. Wines and other beverages are carefully selected to complement the menu. Naturally, excellent non-alcoholic alternatives are also available.
