Sustainability

Sustainability is at the core of Allsta Gård. The goal is not only to maintain a healthy ecosystem, but also to improve the soil and biodiversity. 

Kretsloppshuset is built with sustainable materials, and solar panels supply electricity during the summer. 

Urine-separating toilets make it possible to return nutrients to fields and crops. Food scraps are either composted or fed to the chickens and later used as fertiliser. 

During summer, the chickens are moved around the fields in mobile coops – giving them fresh food and naturally fertilising the land. 

Guests are encouraged to sort their waste and, if they like, help out around the farm. 

Personal sustainability is also important here – offered through yoga massage, meditation, and yoga upon request.
