Sustainability is at the heart of Dahlbogården and it shows in everything from the choice of ingredients to the heating.

• Using primarily eco-friendly, locally sourced ingredients. 
• Investing in solar panels, currently supplying half of the farm’s electricity. 
• Operating organic farming since 1997. 
• Participating in local sustainability initiatives and supporting local businesses and artists. 
• Creating a man-made lake to help restore groundwater levels and provide a nature haven for future generations. 

Environmental policy 

To preserve resilient ecosystems, protect biodiversity, and contribute to a sustainable society, we at Dahlbogården strive to: 

• Be a sustainable destination and meeting place by offering our services in collaboration with locally rooted businesses, in a nature-rich setting within a vibrant rural landscape. 
• Operate as an environmentally friendly business with a positive climate impact by investing in sustainability initiatives and considering our environmental footprint to prevent greenhouse gas emissions and pollution. 
• Increase awareness of environmental issues within our company and require environmental commitments from the businesses and organizations we collaborate with. 
• Communicate our sustainability efforts to inspire guests and the tourism industry to adopt more eco-friendly practices. 
• Comply with current environmental legislation and other commitments we have signed. 
• Continuously improve our environmental performance by annually reviewing, reporting, and setting new environmental goals, inspired by and contributing to Sweden’s environmental objectives and the global sustainability goals in Agenda 2030.
