About the accommodation

Stay in peaceful rural surroundings, between meadows and the lake. The STF Vassbo hostel has a beautiful location at the Lilla Aspan lake, between Falun and Borlänge, with the natural world and rich outdoor leisure activities just outside the door. An excellent place for a wedding, party or conference.

Vassbo’s central location between the Dalarna towns of Falun and Borlänge means that you can enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside while having at the same time immediate access to cultural activities, sporting activities and shopping.

The hostel can also offer well-equipped facilities for conferences and courses, including access to WiFi. It is also possible to rent the complete building – perfect for a wedding or 50th birthday party.

Accommodation
The hostel has rooms of several sizes. All of them are of a high standard, and most have en suite facilities. For a truly relaxing and enjoyable stay, order daily cleaning of the room, making the beds and breakfast from us. The breakfast buffet can be enjoyed in peace and quiet in the airy and sunny dining room, with a view in summer across paddocks and meadows. Breakfast is served 8.00 am-9.00 am.

Free car parking is available by the hostel.

The closest restaurants and shops are in Ornäs, 2 kilometers from Vassbo. If you just want to relax and enjoy life, Vassbo can offer you exciting alternatives, a herb garden, a garden café, wilderness spa…
