Fredriksborg’s restaurant is an experience in itself. The food is prepared with care and great respect for seasonal ingredients. The menu changes throughout the year depending on what is at its best.

Fresh greens and light fish dishes in spring, flavourful archipelago-inspired dishes during summer, richer flavours with mushrooms and root vegetables in autumn, and warming menus when winter sweeps across the fairway. The kitchen gladly draws inspiration from archipelago traditions, letting fish, vegetables and local produce take centre stage. 

The dining room is located in the main building and offers sweeping views over Oxdjupet. Through the windows you can watch boats of all sizes pass by, and in the evening the light turns magical as the sun sets over the water and cliffs. Many guests describe dinner here as one of the most memorable moments of their stay. 

In summer, the outdoor terrace opens, where you sit surrounded by greenery and sea breeze. The atmosphere is more relaxed – perfect for long dinners and refreshing drinks. 

Breakfast is generous and homely, with a carefully selected range of homemade and local products. Freshly baked bread, pastries, jams, granola and delicious egg dishes are prepared on site, complemented by fruit, cheeses, cold cuts and greens. In summer, you can take your breakfast out onto the terrace and enjoy the morning light over the water.
