Weddings & celebrations

The setting around Fredriksborg is perfect for weddings, anniversaries and festive occasions. Ceremonies can take place in nearby churches or outdoors with the sea as a backdrop. Dinners and celebrations are arranged in the hotel’s dining room or in venues by the fortress. The magnificent fortress, with its high vaulted ceilings and excellent acoustics, is ideal for larger daytime conferences or for parties, mingling and dancing. The hotel also has a large furnished wedding tent, and the spacious orangery is often used for dinners, celebrations and dancing. Many couples choose to marry on the large cannon pier by Oxdjupet – with or without cheers from the large cruise ships passing by. The views, the light and the historic buildings create a unique and atmospheric setting for life’s big moments. 

Conference

For smaller meetings, Fredriksborg offers a peaceful setting where focus and inspiration go hand in hand. Meetings can be combined with walks in the fortress area, nature activities or relaxing moments on the veranda. The magnificent fortress, with its high vaulted ceilings and excellent acoustics, is ideal for larger daytime conferences or for celebrations, mingling and dancing. The staff are happy to assist with planning, catering and activity arrangements.
