Welcome to the store and rental at Kebnekaise Mountain Station. In our store you can purchase things you want to bring on your tours into the mountains.
We also have a well-stocked rental were you can rent most things you need for your mountain excursion, both winter- and summertime.
Please note that STF Kebnekaise is cashless. You can prepay for your stay, but on-site, you can only pay by card or Swish.

Store
We have a wide range of outdoor equipment such as: head torches, waterproofs, fuel for camping stoves and much more. Compasses and maps of the local area are available for sale. We have the popular high alpine map of Kebnekaise, which covers the area around the Kebnekaise massif. We also have a broad selection of eco-labelled clothes as well as souvenirs that may be fun to take home with you.
In terms of food, we have a range of tinned goods and freeze-dried food of different kinds and flavours. We also have instant mashed potatoes and rice, pasta and similar as well as various pasta sauces. It is also nice to bring biscuits and dried fruit on your trip, which you can find here too. In addition, there are chocolate bars and bags of sweets and crisps. Everything you could image when you are craving sugar. Our own bakery bakes fresh bread and rolls daily that smell and taste lovely.
Something that may be nice to bring on your trip, or allow yourself to buy when you have arrived, are inspiring books with beautiful pictures. There is a lot of interesting and useful information to read. From facts about mountains, avalanches and glaciers – to the beautiful fauna we have in the mountains.
You can also find medical products such as blister plasters, dauerbinde compression bandages and mosquito repellent etc. We also have hygiene and sun protection products.
You will find the store right next to the reception, in the middle of the main building.

Rental
Our rental shop is well stocked with equipment for both summer and winter adventures in the mountains. Here you’ll find everything from hiking boots (Mammut, Scarpa, Hanwag) and day-tour backpacks to poles and complete camping setups including tents, sleeping bags, stoves and sleeping mats.
For winter activities, we offer snowshoes, alpine touring skis, boots, climbing skins, poles, and fun items for children such as snow racers and toboggans. Our ski touring equipment comes from G3, Black Diamond, Hagan, Dynafit and Blizzard, with pin bindings from Dynafit or ATK. We also rent backcountry skis from Åsnes.
Certified SKF rock or ice climbing instructors and UIAGM mountain guides/aspirants can rent specialised climbing equipment for both day tours and longer outings. Our range covers alpine, rock and ice climbing.
