About the accommodation

Sleep with the sea outside the window, inviting you to an early-morning dip. The hotel enjoys one of the best locations in Österlen, a stone’s throw from the sea in the centre of the old village of Kivik. Wander along the miles of beaches, explore the town and sleep soundly in beautiful rooms that make you feel right at home.

Our small seaside hotel is located in one of the best locations in the east, a short stone’s throw from the sea and in the middle of Kivik’s old village. The house has seen generations come and go and was originally Kivik’s old school built in 1879. Today it has been totaly converted to a small beachvilla hotel. The rooms are beautifully decorated and have a high standard. Many rooms have a fantastic sea view. Take a refreshing morning swim before enjoying the delicious breakfast on the terrace.
 
During high season there is a in-house restaurant serving Ta meny based on locally produced ingredients. The restaurant is open in the evening Tuesday til Saturday.
 
There is much to discover in Kivik in Österlen. Our location on the Skåneleden trail in the middle of Kivik, between Haväng and Stenshuvud, makes it a hikes dream. If you continue your hike you will reach Brösarp slopes or along the coast past Kivik’s museum and through beautiful Baskemölla and Viks fishing villages before reaching Simrishamn. There are also many opportunities horeseback riding along the coast or on the rolling slopes in Brösarp. From Kivik it is close to everything that Skåne has to offer!
