STF Nygårdens Bed and Breakfast

Nygårdens B&B is situated along the beautiful coast of Hälsingland, which is a part of the Virgin Coast. The Hälsingland coast stretches from Gästrikland in the south to Medelpad in the north and is in many ways a hidden gem. It has a magical archipelago, enchanted forests, plenty of ancient monuments and incredible nature.

Nygårdens B&B is situated half way between the charming towns Hudiksvall and Sundsvall. Situated a bit inland in the middle of a beautiful rural area and with the sea and lakes nearby. You are met here by peace and tranquillity, with the forest just around the corner and lots of big and small places of interest nearby.

Andreas and Helena run their B&B in a Hälsingland farmhouse from 1601, a farm that has been in Helena’s family for thirteen generations. When you stay in a Hälsingland farmhouse, you are also staying at a UNESCO World Heritage site. A place that embodies tradition, the present, and the future all at once. You can stay in the original farmhouse or in the barn, where horses once unloaded the year’s hay harvest. Everything has been carefully renovated to offer comfortable accommodation in a unique setting with modern amenities.

When you visit Nygårdens, you will feel the significance of this place—not only for Helena and Andreas but also for the local community. It is a special farm, full of character and history. Breakfast includes eggs and honey from the farm, perhaps enjoyed at a table crafted on-site in 1742. The meal is served in the newly built restaurant, featuring floor-to-ceiling windows with stunning views over the beautiful valley.
