View details

At STF Pite-Rönnskär, you can stay comfortably in the old lighthouse keeper’s house in one of the twin rooms, enjoy the wood-fired sauna, and cook in the self-catering kitchen. If you want to explore the island’s nature, there is a charming walking trail that leads to the other side of the island. On the northeastern part of the island, there is a legendary rock called Klockstenen. It is said that each time the bell rings for service, this mighty rock rotates a quarter turn clockwise.

To get to the island, book a boat taxi Monday-Thursday via
kinnbackskargard.se/batturer/
Friday-Sunday, book through Kinnbäcks Skärgårdsturism by calling +460725433011.

You can also reach the island with your own boat or kayak/canoe any day of the week. The harbor offers guest spots at the quay and a fixed dock with space for a dozen boats for a fee.

If you haven’t brought your own food or want to buy something extra, there is a small shop with a variety of groceries, candy, and ice cream. Here, you have access to fresh water, electricity, dry toilets, barbecue areas, and beautiful trails to explore.

Remember to bring your own bed linens and towel. To keep the rooms nice and clean, you are responsible for cleaning them yourself, and all necessary cleaning equipment is available in the cleaning supply closet.

On the island, the cottage association has a wood-fired sauna that is free and open to everyone. It is not possible to reserve the sauna.

If you prefer to camp, that is also allowed in the area. There is a service fee for this.
