Siaröfortet Skärgårdskrog och Pensionat offers a classic archipelago setting on Kyrkogårdsön, located between Vaxholm and Furusund. It’s perfect for relaxation close to Stockholm, with cliffs, beaches, and historical landmarks. Here, you can swim, fish, rent a kayak, enjoy the sauna, and play boules.

Kyrkogårdsön boasts a rich history and is renowned for its scenic views and relaxed atmosphere. Siaröfortet, built during World War I, provides visitors with a unique insight into Sweden’s defense history. Guided tours are available, where you can learn about the island’s role in Swedish defense and its strategic importance.

If you love nature, this is the perfect spot for you. You can walk along beautiful trails and simply enjoy the peace and quiet. For families with children, there are safe swimming areas where the little ones can play and have fun.

Travel information
Siaröfortet is located on Kyrkogårdsön, in the middle of the fairway between Vaxholm and Furusund. The steamboat pier / stop is called Siaröfortet.
 
For those who come a long way by car, you will find the best parking at Östanå Ferry location. From here you will have a 10 minutes boatride to Kyrkogårdsön and Siaröfortet.
 
During the spring, summer and autumn, there are daily connections with Waxholmsbolaget's regular boat trips from Strömkajen in Stockholm and Vaxholm. In summer, Siaröfortet - Antrophia also offers its own bookable transport from Vaxholm and Östanå ferry terminal. From the immediate area and Östanå, Siaröfortet - Antrophia also offers trips in addition to the regular transports.
 
You will find updated timetables and prices atsiarofortet.se/. Boat transport can also be booked in connection with you reservation on this page.
You are of course also welcome here with your own boat. We have our own guest harbor.
