Skutskepparn’s Kuststation and Högbondens Fyr are two distinctly different accommodations that are perfect to combine for the ultimate experience of Höga Kusten.

Skutskepparn Kuststation

This is a year-round bed and breakfast with eight rooms and a charmingly decorated small boathouse. Skutskepparn offers all the comforts you need for a wonderful stay on Höga Kusten. There is a popular restaurant on site, and the hiking trails start right outside the door.

Bed linen and towels are included, and shared toilets and showers are located in the corridor. Dogs are welcome both in the rooms and in the restaurant.

Högbondens Fyr

Högbondens Fyr is a simpler hostel located on a cliff edge on the island of Högbonden. The newly renovated hostel is housed in the former lighthouse keeper’s residence and offers a total of 26 beds across nine rooms. In a nearby building, there are an additional six beds in two rooms where dogs are welcome.

Shared toilets, showers and composting toilets are available. You can prepare meals in the guest kitchen. Bed linen can be brought along or added to your booking. There is also a sauna available for rent down by one of the rocky shores.
