Welcome to Ulven, Storulvån’s restaurant, where you can enjoy views in three directions with the mountains just outside the windows. When the sun is shining, the veranda is a popular spot for food and drinks.

Restaurant Ulven

At Storulvån, meals are prepared with both care and passion. The kitchen is inspired by the traditions of Jämtland, and the ingredients reflect what is in season. The restaurant is fully licensed and offers a carefully selected range of wines, local beers and non-alcoholic alternatives.

Breakfast

Start your day with a delicious breakfast buffet, served in the restaurant from 07:00 to 10:00. The buffet includes freshly baked bread, cultured milk, yoghurt, porridge, eggs, cold cuts, cheese and fruit. Vegetarian and allergy-friendly options are also available.

Packed lunches and lunch

If you are heading out into the mountains, you can prepare a packed lunch to take with you. Fill a bag with sandwiches made from the breakfast buffet. Brownies, eggs, fruit, hot drinks and soups are also available to pack. Don’t forget to bring your own thermos for hot water during your coffee break.

On days when you prefer to eat indoors, a freshly prepared lunch is served between 12:00 and 14:00. Vegetarian and vegan alternatives are always available alongside meat dishes.

Coffee, treats and bar menu

In addition to the freshly baked breakfast bread, pastries and sweet treats are available to purchase in the restaurant throughout the day.

Hungry after a full day in the mountains? Looking for something light before your departure? Then our simple afternoon menu, served from 14:00 to 20:00, may be just what you need. You can also enjoy freshly made waffles, served after breakfast. A guest favourite!

Two-course dinner

Every evening, a two-course buffet dinner is served. It includes a soup starter, a selection of main courses based on seasonal ingredients, freshly baked bread and a generous salad buffet.

Desserts are available to purchase on site. If you would like a vegetarian option or have special dietary requirements, please let us know when making your booking. As an alternative to the two-course dinner, we also offer a simpler bar menu.
