At Storulvån, you can rent equipment for both winter and summer mountain adventures. During winter, we offer a complete range of gear for ski touring and cross-country skiing, suitable for both children and adults.

Rental

In winter, you’ll find a complete range of equipment for summit touring and Alpine ski touring for both children and adults. The summit touring skis and boots are from Dynafit, while the Alpine ski touring skis are the Åsnes Amundsen model and the touring boots are Crispi Stetind.

Storulvån rental is located one floor below the entrance, and during winter it is open every day between 09:00–12:00 and 14:00–17:30. During summer, you instead collect your rented equipment at the reception. To offer a complete range, we collaborate with Outdoor Buddies in Åre (opens in new tab). There, you can rent clothing, tents and various equipment. They can deliver your rental to the reception at Storulvån for collection.

Shop

In the shop, you’ll find frozen meals, soft drinks and low-alcohol beer, fresh produce, canned goods and dry food so you can cook both in your tent and at the mountain station. There is also candy, ice cream, biscuits and snacks.

You’ll also find additional clothing such as gloves, hats and base layers, as well as durable shell garments for mountain conditions. The equipment range includes fuel, maps, compasses and knives, along with straps, steel thermoses, sit pads and sleeping mats, travel sheets, travel towels and much more. Whether you’re heading out on a longer tour, staying a few days or just stopping by, you’ll find what you need here.
