Just outside the picturesque town of Waxholm you can enjoy a stay at a peaceful hostel in castle-like surroundings. Accommodation is in double or multi-bed rooms in the sturdy buildings around Bogesund Castle, with paddocks close by. Visit Waxholm with its bustling harbour, small shops, galleries and other attractions.

Welcome to us at Bogesundsslott Hostel & Conference. We can offer comfortable accommodation in newly renovated rooms in a beautiful rural environment with views over Bogesund Castle.
 
Come and stay as a private person and relax or organise a family get-together, a wedding or gather together your nearest and dearest to come and enjoy the fantastic surroundings at Bogesund.
 
If you want to organise a conference, we have good conference facilities for up to 50 people. Bogesund is located at the entrance to Stockholm’s archipelago by the picturesque main island town Vaxholm with its selection of cultural activities and fine restaurants.
 
Exciting nature reserve in a country house environment,15 rooms with bunk beds, 9 rooms (twin rooms) with double beds, all with a personal touch.
 
Food
Kitchen with ambition, dining room with views over the castle. Garden café open on Sundays 11-16. From 2/5 to 16/8 opend Saturday and Sunday. Menue only for groups of over 10 people.
 
Services
Self catering facilities, shop with lunchboxes, picnic baskets and hygiene articles. Pre-booking for cycles and canoes is necessary. Pre-booking of sauna and, extra beds are available.
 
Things to see and do
Hiking areas in the nature reserve with marked hiking trails, golf courses in the nearby area. Swimming 800 m. Bogesund Castle with guided tours for groups. General guided tours during the weekends in the summer. 4 km to Vaxholm with its turn-of-the-century environment, shops, restaurants and Fortress.

    By car
    Highway 274 towards Vaxholm, turn right towards Bogesund, continue approx. 7 km on Pålsundsvägen. Pass Ellboda, Waxholms golf club's exit and Träsket then you will soon be there. Turn left at the red sign just before the castle and follow the dirt road until it ends!
     
    From Vaxholm turn at the Cirkel K petrol station, follow Pålsundsvägen for approx. 4km. Take a right after the castle at the red sign and follow the gravel road until it ends!
     
    By boat
    From Stockholm, Strömkajen or Nybrokajen to Vaxholm or vice versa to go to Stockholm For tour list: +4686795830.
     
    By bus
    From Stockholm: 670 from the Institute of Technology. Change to bus 681 towards Vaxholm at the Kulla crossroads. Get off at Bogesunds Gård.
