Is there mobile coverage?

Mobile phone coverage in the mountains is limited and cannot be relied upon. There is usually some coverage in or near mountain stations, but reception quickly becomes weaker—and often disappears completely—the further you travel into the mountains or between stations. Coverage varies by location and operator, with Telia generally offering the best reception, while other networks often have limited or no coverage at all. Even with Telia, you should be prepared for areas with no signal.

Emergency phones are available in all cabins and stations, but they may only be used in case of emergency.
