Sjövillan Bed & Breakfast is located on Rindö and offers great views over the inlet at Vaxholm and Vaxholm Kastell nearby. The area has an exciting history, characterized by the military presence in Vaxholm and on Rindö. On Rindö, beautiful nature meets cultural history. In the former barracks area at Oxdjupet there is now a cheese factory, brewery and coffee roaster. Feel the history by taking cultural walk from just outside Sjövillan.
 
At Sjövillan you live comfortably in bright and cosily furnished rooms, many with sweeping views of the sea. The large terrace offers views towards Vaxholm and Kastellet, where you can watch the boats pass slowly while enjoying your breakfast and morning coffee.
 
Sjövillan is a stone’s throw from Vaxholm and Kastellet. The proximity to Vaxholm and Kastellet ensures a rich choice of culture and entertainment that can be combined with discovering Rindö’s beautiful nature.
 
The room is available from 14:00 on the day of arrival until 11:00 on the day of departure.

Travel information
It is easy to get to Sjövillan. From Stockholm you easily get there by boat, bus or car.

Car
By car, the journey from Stockholm takes about 1h. Go via Vaxholm and take the free ferry to Rindö, where Sjövillan is located, Or go via Värmdö, taking the car ferry between Värmdö and Rindö. The road is good, but it takes about 10 minutes longer than going via Vaxholm.
 
By car ferry from Vaxholm it takes about 5 minutes to cross to Rindö. The car ferry runs around the clock and is free. If you arrive by your own car, there is free parking just below the entrance to Sjövillan.

Boat
Both Waxholmsbolaget waxholmsbolaget.se/in-english and Strömma www.stromma.com sail between Stockholm and Vaxholm year round. From there you cross by the free ferry (five minutes) to Rindö and Sjövillan.
 
Bus
Bus 670 from Östra Station in Stockholm takes 45 minutes to Vaxholm. From there there free ferry will take you to Rindö/Sjövillan.
