Abisko – Chairlift ticket (summer)

A ride on the chair lift up to Nuolja is an absolute highlight of your visit to Abisko. From here, you’ll enjoy a breathtaking view of the majestic Abisko Alps, the iconic Lapporten, and the sparkling Torneträsk.

The chair lift comfortably takes you up to Aurora Sky Station, where you can relax on the sun terrace, here you can enjoy a light lunch or a delicious snack while admiring the magnificent panoramic view. Afterwards, you can explore the mountain on a short hike and take the chair lift back down, or choose one of the trails that lead back to the foot of the mountain and the tourist station. Along the way, you’ll have the chance to discover rare orchids and the alpine flora that are unique to the area.

From mid-June to mid-July, you can also take the chair lift up in the evening to experience the magical light of the midnight sun – an unforgettable experience.

• Opening hours for the chair lift: Daytime 9:00 AM–4:00 PM (12 June – 27 September), evening for the midnight sun 8:00 PM–1:30 AM (12 June –19 July).
• Small children must ride in the company of an adult.
• You can choose between a one-way or round-trip ticket that takes you up and down, either for daytime or midnight sun rides.
• In severe weather conditions, the chair lift may close for safety reasons. In the event of a decision to close the chair lift due to unsafe weather conditions, cable car tickets will be refunded on-site.
• Cancellations can be made up to 7 days prior to arrival; after that, no refund will be issued for the amount paid.
