STF Anaris Mountain cabin

Payment by card is accepted at STF Anaris. Swish service depending on type of subscription.
 
From the cabin, you can climb Stora Anahögen, the nearest high mountain peak. The trail towards Vallbo goes over a high mountain pass with a nice view over the Vattensjö lakes and the Ott mountains.
 
Hosjöbottnarnas Sámi camp with its private lodging is located between the Höglekar Valley and Anaris. Another Sámi camp was previously near the cabin and a couple peat tents are still maintained. There are also signs of reindeer fencing, built of interlacing birch stems.
 
This is how it works in a mountain cabin
Our mountain cabins offer a simple and authentic stay in multi-bedded rooms with self catering. The rooms are different sizes with bunk beds and usually heated by gas stoves. On site you will be greeted by a cabin manager. As a guest you chop wood, fetch water from the stream or lake, wash up and clean up after youself.
